This first journal I used items that I received from various SWAPS I have been a part of in the past. I have a box full of my wonderful treasures from fellow crafters. I decided what better way to showcase their wonderful art. I am sooo sorry to the ones that made these embellishments I forgot to add you names with the pieces. If it is yours please let me know so I can give you the proper credit.
The hummingbird journal is made using various files from www.svgcuts.com. The hummingbird is a free svg file on their blog, www.svgcuts.com/blog.
The cute shaplies are from www.pennyduncancreations.blgospot.com
If you would like to join me in this wonderful cause you can email me at email@example.com and I can give you my address and you can send journals to me to distribute to my cancer center or make some journals yourself and deliver to a cancer center in your area….
A special thanks goes out to my wonderful friend Shirley Nagel. She is the on that started Journals of Love…

I am a part of a few swaps this month….
The first one I am a part of is with my great friend Christel from Scrappin Sista. She has monthly swaps on her blog.
This month’s theme was Girly Embellishments.
I used the high shoe from SVG Cuts. It was a free download from their blog.
The second SWAP I am a part of is on the SVG Cuts Blog Cuts Blog
We had to make am embellishment, journal tag and ribbon. The partner that you are assigned let you know what they are looking for. My partner Amy need basketball elements for a 7 yr old boy. This is what I came up with… All files used are from SVG Cuts Cuts.

I found the this post over at Yolie’s blog www.justyolie.com and decided to join another Pay It Forward. Here's how it works:
"Pay It Forward" is the idea of blessing someone with a random act of kindness without expecting anything in return. It’s passing on a kindness, hoping that your recipients will do the same, and forming a never-ending chain of goodwill. But it isn’t only kindness, it is also a means to connect and share.
"I promise to send an original creation to the (1st) 5 people who leave a comment here. They must, in turn, post this on their blog, and send something they make to the 1st 5 people who comment."
Here's what you need to do:
1. Leave a comment on this post. I will send a handmade gift to the first 5 commenters.
2. Create a post on your blog offering the same.
3. Send a handmade item to your first 5 commenters.
4. It must be sent to your 5 people by end of the year.
Please do not sign up unless you are fully committed to making your 5 items!
